Our office is based in Sandtoft near Thorne, serving clients across Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire. We are a small, friendly firm of qualified accountants dedicated to delivering professional support. We are proud that our founder, Jane Gilderson, Herbert & Long, Herbert & Long, holds a BSc in Mathematics, is an FCA and has been a member of the ICAEW since 1 January 1994. We benefit from her specialisation in complex accounts for sole traders, limited companies, partnerships, bookkeeping, VAT returns, company tax returns, selfassessment tax returns, PAYE and yearend accounts submitted to HMRC and Companies House. We also value the contribution of Malane Ericson, who has worked with us since 2004 and achieved AAT Level 4 qualification in 2009, bringing over 15 years of prior banking sector experience.

We further rely on Rachel Diaz, who brings over 30 years of accountancy expertise from both public and private sectors, including roles in farming, construction and public finance. We offer a comprehensive range of services such as payroll processing, personal tax preparation, bookkeeping, VAT return submission and free initial consultations.
