Stanley Woods & Co is a Newtownards based accountancy firm that has been providing expert accounting services to small businesses for over 75 years. Our History
Stanley Woods & Co was originally founded in 1937 in Belfast, but moved to Newtownards two years later. Today, our practice is led by William McAdam FCCA, and we have a team of six staff members who are dedicated to providing a personal and professional service to our clients. We have established a wide client base within the local business community, and we are proud to say that many of our clients have been with us for a long time.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to help small businesses succeed. Our services include small business advice, planning, and projections to help get your business off the ground. We also provide audit and accountancy services for sole-traders, partnerships, small family companies, and registered clubs. Our payroll and VAT services take the hassle out of managing your business's finances, and our taxation advice services include individual tax returns, capital gains, and inheritance tax planning.

Our team is led by William McAdam FCCA, and includes Bernie Scott FCA, Stephen Clarke, Donna Davison, and Eileen Atcheson. Our staff are experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of accounting and taxation, and are dedicated to providing a personal and professional service to our clients.
