Since changing accountants to Beansprout, I fee much more in control of our business finances. Beansprout highlighted from day 1 a few issues which we acted on and now we have a good understanding for the future. They are always on hand to answer any questions and give us quarterly feedback so we know how things are going.

I have been working with Beansprout for well over a year now and they are a far cry from the 'once a year' accountant I was used to.

Beansprout give me an enormous amount of information and are always happy to explain anything I don't understand. I probably complicated things a little for them by running 2 business, one as a sole trader and the other as a limited company - while I was fairly clear on the sole trader account, the limited company has only recently started and is a very different way of working for me. I am very aware that I am still learning the ropes!

Helen and Kevin are very patient and their whole way of working is to ensure that you not only know your numbers but understand what they are telling you, so that you are able to make strategic plans for the future. I have learned so much in the last year, and it has increased my confidence in my ability to make decisions and back up those decisions with proper financials.

I would absolutely recommend Beansprout to anyone looking for an accountant who will get to know your business by getting to know you and treating you like a friend, whilst also giving great financial advice.

Kevin & Helen are absolutely the accountants to work with. I always feel incredibly safe and secure knowing they are looking after my accounts - they are very reliable, respond perfectly, and generally just lovely people to collaborate with. Couldn't recommend enough and have moved many of my friends who own businesses on to them as I know they will be looked after!

Helen has been an invaluable asset in the set up of my business. I attended the Spring Expo at Wrest Park, and to my delight, won a Power Hour with Kevin Abranches of Beansprout.
The meeting with Kevin was arranged really quickly for the following week, and I have to say, turned out to be the catalyst I needed to pull my socks up (although I usually refer to this as putting on my big girl pants!) and really work on my business which I love and am passionate about - instead of just giving up. Kevin was exceedingly kind and understanding, but also honest about what I needed to do, avenues I should think about exploring, and reassuring in his advice that the situation was nowhere near as bad as I felt it was! Im not actually sure that I would have carried on if I hadnt had the Power Hour, and I certainly would then have mourned the loss of my company. The Power Hour, and Kevins encouragement gave me the confidence to really push myself out of my comfort zone and in the intervening months, Ive attended lots of networking events, proposed and agreed several collaboration partnerships, been a guest speaker on a podcast, had an article on one of my residential projects published, and taken part as an exhibitor at large events; all of which have contributed to new enquiries and a flurry of new clients being successfully secured.
Ive since met Kevin and also Helen at other events and their ongoing support and encouragement is just lovely; no pushy sales tactics, just a sense that they both really want you to succeed and are there if and when you need their expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend Beansprout to anyone who feels they could do with a fresh pair of eyes, some hand-holding, and sensible, practical advice they may have just the big girl/boy pants you need!
