Welcome to DH Accounting, a friendly accountancy practice based in North Dorset. We aim to take the stress out of your financial reporting by providing high-quality, easy-to-understand advice. We are approachable and welcoming, offering a range of services designed to ease the day-to-day stresses of running your business.

Our team is led by Senior Accountant and Owner, Daniel House FCCA, who has been in the profession since the age of 18. Daniel's expertise spans a variety of industries, including farming, construction, catering, and more. He has clients based as far afield as Australia and is committed to providing exceptional service to all his clients.

Brian Craine FCCA joined our team in June 2016 and brings a wealth of experience as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Brian's responsibilities include preparing accounts, preparing tax returns, and giving tax advice to our client base. He works Tuesday to Friday.

Joe Bell joined DH Accounting in February 2015 as an accounts apprentice and has since completed his AAT and ACCA. Joe now works remotely for us, focusing on accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT, personal tax, payroll, and CIS.

Kate Brace joined the team in November 2019 as an Administrator and PA to Daniel. She works remotely Monday to Friday, 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm, providing general office assistance, assisting with the onboarding of new clients, and payroll services.

Angela Phipps joined DH Accounting in April 2021 as a Bookkeeper. Angela works on Tuesdays and is an experienced bookkeeper with extensive knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and software. Her main responsibilities include bookkeeping and VAT returns.

Adam Carte joined our team in September 2021 as an accounts apprentice. Adam had already completed AAT Level 2 and has since completed his AAT training and become a full member. He is involved in the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, personal tax, payroll, and CIS.

Natasha Hampson joined our team in April 2022 as an admin assistant. Natasha supports other departments, helping out on VAT, bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and administrative work.

At DH Accounting, we are committed to looking for new ways of working that will assist you in meeting current and upcoming HMRC requirements around Making Tax Digital (MTD), ensuring that you can continue to focus on your day-to-day business. We aim to make sure our clients are getting the most out of their business and have the resources available to help them achieve their goals.
